Accessibility Statement
BTG Consulting's commitment to a website experience usable by as many people as reasonably possible.
BTG Consulting is working to provide a website experience that is usable by as many people as reasonably possible. This is an ongoing effort, and this statement describes the approach and features implemented so far. It is a business working draft.
1. Our commitment
BTG Consulting is committed to improving accessibility across the website. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as guidance for our design and development decisions. We do not claim to be “fully ADA compliant” or “WCAG certified,” as no such certification currently exists for this website. We treat accessibility as an ongoing process rather than a one-time achievement.
2. What we have implemented
Features we have built into this website include:
- semantic HTML landmarks and a logical heading structure, with one main heading per page;
- keyboard-operable navigation, including a keyboard-operable mobile menu with focus management and Escape-to-close;
- visible focus indicators on interactive elements;
- a Five-Gap Execution Diagnostic that is keyboard-operable and includes screen-reader announcements for question and result changes;
- visible labels on form fields (no placeholder-only labeling);
- touch targets sized for comfortable mobile interaction; and
- color is never the only signal for scores, status, or meaning — text labels accompany visual indicators.
3. Responsive design and reduced motion
The website is designed to be responsive and to adapt to a range of screen sizes, including mobile devices. We also respect the reduced-motion preference: when a visitor has enabled a reduced-motion setting, animations and transitions are minimized.
4. Assistive technology
We aim to support common assistive technologies, including screen readers and keyboard navigation. Because some third-party components (such as the embedded booking calendar) are provided by outside services, we cannot guarantee their full accessibility beyond what those services support.
5. Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing priority. We continue to review the website, address issues as they are identified, and improve the experience over time. Some areas may still need improvement, and we welcome your input.
6. Reporting accessibility difficulties
If you experience an accessibility barrier or have difficulty using any part of this website, please let us know through the contact page. Please describe the issue and the page or feature involved so we can look into it. We strive to respond to accessibility reports and to make reasonable improvements where possible.
